Recipe to prepare smoky baked beans on toast
- ¾ tbsp cooking oil
- ½ onion, properly chopped
- ½ small tomato, properly chopped
- 1 small green chili cut in half
- A few parsley sprigs or coriander leaves, finely chopped
- ½ tsp 1 clove of garlic, cut into pieces
- 2 slice bread
- 250gm can of baked beans
- ½ tsp red paprika
- ½ tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- 2tsp red vinegar
Put the pan on fire and add oil to it. As the oil gets warm add garlic and green chili. Sort it for 2-3 mins and then add onions to it. Sort it continuously for 5-6 mins. Add tomatoes, beans, sugar, paprika, salt, vinegar and mix it well. Let it cook for 7-8 mins on medium flame.
Toast your bread and apply butter to it. Spread the baked beans you prepared above the toast and garnish it with parsley sprigs or coriander leaves. You can even add a bit of oregano for better taste.
Remember to use multigrain/whole wheat bread and fat-free butter to make it healthy.
